With real estate, there are (understandably) a ton of questions about what the best practices are.
I strive to provide you with solutions and clarity on anything and everything real estate, so here are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions.
Where do I start if I want to buy my first home?
A great place to start is online! It’s common practice for sellers to list their home online, complete with photos and sometimes even a virtual tour! After you’ve gathered some data, you can take that to a real estate agent who can point you in the right direction and help you find your dream home.
Is there a “best“ time of year price-wise to buy a home?
In other years, the best time of the year to buy a home was fall since inventory surpassed demand. As we all know it has remained a seller’s market and this is not currently the case. You want to take a look at mortgage rate trends and predictions against rising prices to determine when to buy. I can give you insight into your specific neighborhood.
Can I buy a home with no down payment?
Some buyers can get a mortgage with no down payment via a government-backed loan, which is insured by the federal government. Currently, there are two types: USDA loans and VA loans. If you qualify for either of these, then you are eligible to forgo the down payment. Otherwise, you should plan to make a down payment based on the type of loan you pursue.
