Rachel Frentsos: Today I have a very special guest with me. She has been with me for a year now. Her name is Kristin Mrotek. She has been my assistant. This is the face behind all of the emails and seller updates that you’ve been getting. So, Kristin, thank you for coming in front of the camera today.
Kristin Mrotek: You’re welcome! I’m usually behind the scenes.
Rachel Frentsos: Right! How do you feel being in front?
Kristin Mrotek: I like it! I could get used to this!
Rachel Frentsos: So, tell us a little bit about your background. You’ve been with me for a year and we’ve been so busy that I actually haven’t even gotten the chance to really get to know you and your background.
Background
Kristin Mrotek: Well, one thing that I think is interesting is that I grew up on a farm. I’m from the southwestern Pennsylvania area. I grew up on a farm there. My parents own the farm and they still live there. They’ve lived there for over 50 years now.
Rachel Frentsos: So, did you work on the farm with them when you were growing up?
Kristin Mrotek: Yes, we raised cows and pigs! I didn’t do a lot of farm work, but I definitely enjoyed that growing up. Now, I love to be able to take my kids back there to visit Grandma and Grandpap.
Rachel Frentsos: That’s so cool! Where do you live now?
Kristin Mrotek: Now my husband and I live in Bowie with our two kids. We’ve lived there for 20 years.
Rachel Frentsos: That’s so great! How do you like working here in downtown Annapolis?
Kristin Mrotek: I love it! Every time I come to downtown Annapolis, I try to just take a minute to to take it all in and realize what a great place this is. And, just enjoy the moment of being here.
Rachel Frentsos: We’re standing in front of our new office behinds us. We just moved in here a few months ago. Kristin, what do you like to do in your free time?
Kristin Mrotek: Well, in my free time, like most moms of teenagers, I do a lot of driving. I drive my children from here to there and back. That’s it!
Exciting Announcement
Rachel Frentsos: Well, hopefully you’ll have some free time once they go off to college! What is so exciting that I want to announce is that Kristin just got her real estate license. Now, she is going to be able to provide a variety of extra services for all of my clients out there. I’m super excited to have her now joining forces as a licensed real estate agent. So, congratulations!
Kristin Mrotek: Yeah! Thank you! I’m the proud owner of a shiny new real estate license!
